If you want to tidy up your Facebook profile without permanently deleting any memories, the Archive feature on Android is your best friend. It lets you hide posts from public view while keeping them stored privately, allowing you to revisit or restore them anytime.

Step 1: Go to Your Profile

Open the Facebook app on your Android phone. Tap on your profile picture at the top to go directly to your timeline.

Step 2: Find the Post You Want to Archive

Scroll through your posts until you find the one you'd like to hide. This is helpful if you're cleaning up your profile or just want to keep certain posts private.

Step 3: Archive the Post

Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the post. A menu will appear with various options. Select "Move to archive." The post will disappear from your public timeline but remain safe in your archive section.

Step 4: View Archived Posts

To access your hidden posts, go back to your profile, tap the three-dot icon, and select 'Activity Log.' At the top, tap on ‘Archive’ to view all previously archived content. This way, your memories are just a few taps away.

Step 5: Restore Archived Posts

Want a post back on your timeline? Go to the Archive via the Activity Log, find the post, tap the three-dot menu, and choose ‘Restore.’ Your post will return to your profile as if it never left.

Archiving is a great way to keep your Facebook organized while maintaining control over what others see — and what stays just for you.
