With 529 runs so far, Kohli is just 173 runs away from surpassing Shikhar Dhawan’s 701 and becoming India’s highest run-scorer in the Champions Trophy. Along the way, he will also overtake legends like Rahul Dravid (627) and Sourav Ganguly (665).

Kohli, with 13,963 runs, needs 271 more to surpass Kumar Sangakkara’s 14,234 and become the second-highest run-scorer in ODI history. Sachin Tendulkar’s 18,426 is out of reach for now. Kohli’s consistency could see him claim the runner-up spot.

Kohli needs just 37 more runs in his next 64 innings to become the fastest batter to reach 14,000 ODI runs. Sachin Tendulkar holds the current record with 350 innings, and Kumar Sangakkara took 378. Achieving this milestone would further highlight Kohli's dominance in the format.

If India wins the CT 2025, Kohli will match Ricky Ponting’s record for the most ICC tournament wins by a player. Kohli has already won the 2011 ODI World Cup, 2013 Champions Trophy, 2024 T20 World Cup, and the 2008 U19 World Cup, bringing him close to this incredible milestone.

Kohli has five half-centuries in 13 Champions Trophy matches. Scoring two more will break Rahul Dravid’s record of six half-centuries in 19 matches, making Kohli the player with the most 50s in the tournament’s history.
