Is there anything more heartwarming than watching 'Men in Love'? A recent video of cricket icon Virat Kohli has emerged on social media from Barbados, where he and the Indian cricket team are stranded due to the chaos caused by Hurricane Beryl .

In the video, Virat appears to be sharing the intensity of the hurricane with someone via a video call. Though it's unclear who is on the other end of the call, fans speculate it might be his wife, actress Anushka Sharma . Virat, clad in a casual brown shirt and relaxed white bottoms, stepped onto his hotel balcony and turned his phone camera towards the turbulent ocean. He then hurried to another location for a clearer vantage point. Fans of the couple were delighted to see his eagerness to share everything with Anushka.

Kohli, expressing his gratitude and happiness, also wrote a heartfelt message to his wife Anushka Sharma following India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory. This win marked a significant milestone for the team and their supporters. Kohli played a pivotal role in India’s success, scoring a superb 76 (59) after the team struggled at 34/3 during the powerplay. Despite the early setbacks, Kohli steered India to a competitive total of 176/7, which proved sufficient as South Africa managed only 169/8 in their 20 overs, resulting in India clinching a seven-run victory.

The Indian team, stranded in Bridgetown, Barbados since their World Cup victory on June 29, is scheduled to leave the Caribbean island on Tuesday night. Significantly, the Men in Blue conquered South Africa in the tournament final at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados, ending their 11-year drought in ICC tournaments. The team is scheduled to fly directly to New Delhi, where they are anticipated to meet with the Prime Minister.

However, squad members, support staff, and their families have been marooned on the island for the past two days due to flight cancellations triggered by Hurricane Beryl, which struck the region on Monday with significant force. As a precautionary measure, the entire island was under lockdown for two days, requiring the players to remain confined to their hotel.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials have been working to arrange a private jet or charter flight to bring the players home, but they have faced challenges due to the airport closure. According to the latest updates, the Indian team is now scheduled to depart from Barbados on Tuesday at 6 pm local time, which corresponds to approximately 3:30 am on Wednesday in Indian Standard Time (IST). They are expected to arrive in Delhi by 7:45 pm on July 3, Wednesday.
