Indian cricket legend MS Dhoni has once again made headlines on social media with his striking return to his classic long hairstyle. Over the course of his illustrious career, Dhoni has experimented with various hairdos, but it's his iconic long locks, originally sported during his early years in the Indian cricket team, that continue to captivate fans and create a sensation online.

Dhoni's initial World Cup triumph came in 2007 during the ICC World T20, a period when he was known for his distinctive long hair. Although Dhoni had previously indicated that he had outgrown that particular style, he has recently returned to his long-haired appearance for a promotional photoshoot.

Renowned hairstylist Aalim Hakim recently shared images of Dhoni's fresh haircut, which promptly sparked a social media frenzy. Alongside these captivating photos, Hakim penned a comprehensive post, shedding light on their collaborative effort to create this unique and striking hairstyle.

"Yes!!! It's our very own Mahendra Singh Dhoni @mahi7781.

"It's an incredible opportunity for any creative professional to collaborate with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and I'm always grateful for the privilege of showcasing my craftsmanship by styling his hair... We've experimented with several unique hairstyles in the past, but just before the last IPL, when everyone was opting for short and sharp haircuts, Mahi bhai showed me a fan-made image of himself with long hair, and I was captivated by it. I requested him to grow his hair long, and we both made a pact not to trim it, allowing it to grow before we could cut and style it.

"I've always been a huge fan of Mahi bhai's long hair, and we decided to create an entirely new texture and color for his hair... I thoroughly enjoyed creating this effortless hairstyle for Mahi bhai.

"So, here I am sharing some images that I captured before he went to shoot an advertisement.

Always a pleasure to collaborate with him," Aalim shared on Instagram.

Beyond the cricket field, Dhoni has been actively engaged in several commercial ventures. The iconic cricketer is expected to make a comeback to the world of cricket by representing the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming Indian Premier League season.
