The company has recently released version 2.23.12.15 through the Google Play Beta Program. As part of this update, WhatsApp is working on revamping the floating action buttons, which are expected to be introduced to beta testers in a forthcoming app update.

According to the report, WhatsApp is introducing a fresh look for its floating action buttons, aimed at enhancing the user experience. The screenshots provided showcase the redesigned buttons, which will enable users to initiate new chats more swiftly. Aligning with the principles of Material Design 3, the updated buttons adopt a square shape with subtly rounded edges. According to the report, the redesign will not only encompass the floating action button but will also be extended to include the buttons within the calls and status tabs.

Recently, WhatsApp initiated the introduction of a redesigned interface featuring a bottom navigation bar. This notable change indicates a comprehensive app redesign in accordance with the guidelines of Material Design 3.
WhatsApp Channels now available in India
WhatsApp has officially launched the Channels feature in India, providing users with a new tool for one-way broadcasts. Admins now have the ability to send a variety of content, including text, photos, videos, stickers, and polls. Additionally, the company is working on creating a searchable directory, allowing users to easily discover channels related to their interests, hobbies, sports teams, and local updates from officials. This directory will simplify the process of finding and following desired channels. To join a specific WhatsApp Channel, users can simply click on the invite links shared through chats, emails, or posts online.
