What You'll Need:

  • 2 large raw mangoes (green and firm)
  • 4 tbsp sugar or jaggery (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • A pinch of regular salt
  • Fresh mint leaves (a handful)
  • 2 cups chilled water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Step-by-Step Preparation:


1. Boil or Roast the Mangoes: Wash the raw mangoes and boil them in water until soft (about 10–15 minutes). Alternatively, you can roast them on an open flame for a smoky flavor.

2. Peel and Extract the Pulp: Once cooled, peel the mangoes and scoop out the soft pulp. Discard the seed.


3. Blend It All Together: In a blender, add the mango pulp, sugar (or jaggery), roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and mint leaves. Blend into a smooth paste.
