When and Where to Watch PM Modi’s Speech

On August 15, Prime Minister Modi will unfurl the national flag at the historic Red Fort in Delhi, a tradition that continues this year with his 11th consecutive Independence Day address. The flag-hoisting ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:30 am. After this, PM Modi will deliver his speech, broadcast live across multiple platforms.


Viewers can catch the live telecast on Doordarshan , India’s premier public service broadcaster. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) will also stream the address live on its YouTube channel and Twitter handle @PIB_India. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) will also share the speech through Twitter.

Theme of Independence Day 2024
