As India steps into the festive season, e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart have started unveiling teasers for their annual sales—Amazon's Great Indian Festival and Flipkart's Big Billion Day . While Amazon is yet to confirm the start date for its sale, Flipkart has announced that its Big Billion Day sale will begin on September 26 for Plus members, with wider access the following day.

Amazon's microsite hints at exciting offers, including the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra potentially priced below Rs 1,00,000. Meanwhile, Flipkart has disclosed that the 9th generation iPad might be available for as low as Rs 18,000 or Rs 18,999—marking one of the few occasions an Apple tablet could be sold under Rs 20,000.

Amazon is promising up to 45% off on top-selling laptops, 60% on tablets, and up to 70% on headphones, featuring brands like Dell, Noise, BoAt, and Apple. Additionally, shoppers can expect deals on Alexa-powered devices and Fire TV sticks.

Flipkart, on the other hand, is offering discounts on major brands such as Samsung, Apple, Realme, Nothing, LG, and Asus across smartphones, tablets, and other electronics.

Laptops, smartphones, and other gadgets will see substantial price reductions in both sales. Plus and Prime members of Flipkart and Amazon, respectively, will enjoy early access to the deals, starting 24 hours before the official launch.

Last year, Amazon India reported an 18-fold increase in purchases by Prime members within the first 24 hours, reflecting the immense popularity of these festive sales.
