Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu took to Twitter on Monday to announce an important milestone in his family. He introduced his future daughter-in-law, Inayat Randhawa , and shared heartwarming pictures from their recent trip on the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami .

Just last month, the Sidhu family embarked on a visit to Rishikesh to celebrate Ganga Dussehra. Mr. Sidhu shared pictures on Twitter, showcasing moments of their pilgrimage, including him and his family taking a dip in the holy Ganges and posing together at a restaurant.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Sidhu was recently released from Patiala Central Jail after serving a ten-month prison term related to a road-rage incident that occurred 34 years ago, resulting in the unfortunate death of Gurnam Singh , a 65-year-old man. His wife, Navjot Kaur , took to Twitter before his release to express her emotions, stating that her husband's love for Punjab had driven him beyond any personal attachment.

Furthermore, in March of this year, Navjot Kaur Sidhu was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive cancer, which has posed significant challenges for the family. However, in a recent update, she shared a video after completing her first chemotherapy session, demonstrating her resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
