Chrisean Rock Sentenced To 4 Years Probation In Oklahoma Case
In a surprising turn of events, Chrisean Rock , better known as Chrisean Malone , has received a sentence of four years probation and community service in her Oklahoma drug charges case , which had been hanging over her head for months. This decision comes just days after the music sensation welcomed her first child, adding another layer of complexity to her life.
Chrisean Rock, a prominent figure in the music industry known for hits like "Crazy In Love," was previously wanted by the Oklahoma Sheriff's office for failing to appear in court earlier this year. She was facing two serious charges: possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a tax stamp and possession with the intent to distribute. Both charges carried the potential for a one-year prison sentence upon conviction. Specifically, she was found in possession of crack cocaine, leading to the first charge.
The incident that triggered this legal ordeal occurred when Chrisean Rock allegedly stole Blueface's Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon truck following a dispute, embarking on a cross-country journey from Los Angeles to Baltimore. Remarkably, Blueface chose not to press charges related to the stolen vehicle.
On Thursday, September 3, Urban Islandz obtained court documents revealing that the Craig County District Court had ruled in Chrisean Rock's favor. The judge sentenced her to four years of probation for each of the charges after she entered a guilty plea. These sentences will run concurrently.
According to her sentencing document, Rock did not appear in court but was represented by her attorney, Ken Gallon, who successfully argued against a jail sentence by highlighting her clean criminal record.
“It is therefore ordered, adjudged, and decreed by the court that the application for deferment of the finding of guilt is granted as follows: on the defendant’s representation that she has not been previously convicted of a felony within the last 10 years…”
Chrisean Rock's probation will remain in effect until March 15, 2027. The terms and conditions of her probation are strict, mandating that she must not violate any state, tribal, federal government, or municipal ordinances.
However, Chrisean Rock is not entirely off the hook. In lieu of serving 30 days in jail, she is required to complete 120 hours of community service, which must be performed at a homeless shelter. Importantly, her case is considered an interstate probation case, which means she may complete her community service in another state. Additionally, she has been ordered to pay a fine of $991 to the District Attorney's office.
While this marks a significant development in Chrisean Rock's legal battles, she still faces another criminal case in Las Vegas for an alleged casino altercation with a fan. Although she was previously listed as a suspect by the police, she has been in California with Blueface since the incident occurred several months ago. Her legal journey is far from over, and fans will be watching closely to see how these developments unfold in the coming months.
