Festivals celebrating legends have graced us, and our heartfelt gratitude goes to Mr. Shivin Dungarpur, who passionately dedicates himself to restoring the classic films of yesteryears. Those cherished days of cinema have returned, and thanks to him, you and I can now relish the Amitabh Bachchan-Zeenat Aman starrer at the iconic Regal theatre in Colaba, Mumbai .

Mark your calendars for Friday, September 29! Zeenat Aman will kickstart the event with an engaging conversation session, followed by a screening of the film. This is an extraordinary opportunity for any Hindi film enthusiast, and you wouldn't want to let it slip by!

Zeenat Aman expressed her interest in organizing an event to celebrate " Don " and was actively discussing the details for such an occasion.

Rumors have it that "Don" underwent a meticulous restoration process quite some time ago, and now, this splendidly restored copy is set to be showcased to the public. The best part? It's a FREE SHOW! So, it appears that a "First Come First Serve" approach will be implemented to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy it.

Indeed, the grapevine had it that Zeenat Aman had aspirations to host an event to celebrate "Don," and after some discussions, it appears that her vision is finally becoming a reality.

"Don," which hit theaters in 1978, featured a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan , Zeenat Aman, Pran, Kamal Kapoor, and Iftikhar in pivotal roles. The film was masterfully crafted by Chandra Barot.

Interestingly, Barot sought the opinion of his mentor, the legendary Manoj Kumar, who suggested that the film could benefit from a song amidst its action-packed narrative. Following this advice, the iconic song "Khaike Paan Banaraswala" was incorporated, and the rest, as they say, is history.
