Former Flames Tiger Shroff & Disha Patani Set For On-Screen Reunion
BT has exclusively learned that former partners Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are set to reunite on the big screen. Having previously shared screen space in Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3, they will be appearing together once more in the upcoming project by Jagan Shakti, renowned for directing Mission Mangal. The film, tentatively titled Hero No 1, marks their latest collaboration.
Several reports had previously suggested that Tiger would be paired with actress Sara Ali Khan, marking their first collaboration for the film.
Nevertheless, a trustworthy source closely involved in the project has disclosed that Sara has been replaced by Disha, following the former's departure from the movie due to scheduling conflicts.
Confirming the news, director Jagan Shakti informed BT, "Disha is the fittest and apt to do action. Sara was definitely a part of it but unfortunately, we couldn’t match the dates.”
In addition, the film Hero No 1 will feature actor Pashmina Roshan in one of the supporting roles. Despite being named after the 1997 hit movie of the same name by David Dhawan, Jagan Shakti's directorial is not a remake of the original Govinda starrer.
Regarding Tiger and Disha, despite their highly publicized breakup last year, the two have maintained an amicable relationship. Tiger is currently in a relationship with Deesha Dhanuka, an employee within the same production house, Pooja Entertainment, that is overseeing Hero No 1.
We attempted to reach out to Tiger, Disha, and the film's producer Jackky Bhagnani for a comment, but they chose to remain silent until the time of press.
