Ranbir Kapoor Reveals He Shaved His Head For Film ‘Animal’

Ranbir Kapoor 's fans have been eagerly anticipating his appearance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. Scheduled to release in December this year, the movie also features Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in significant roles. In a recent revelation, Ranbir disclosed that he shaved his head for a particular scene in the film.

A clip of the actor has emerged on X (formerly Twitter), where he discusses the preparations for his role in Animal. In the footage, he can be seen revealing that he shaved his head for the film's final scene and is currently in the process of growing his hair back. Additionally, he mentioned that due to his lack of involvement in any current projects, he has put his dieting regimen on hold.

He said, "Maine Animal ke liye poora baal shave kar dia tha.. maine vo last scene ke liye poora shave kar dia tha, isliye baal abhi uga raha hoon main and berojgaari hai toh itna dieting nahi kar raha, main khoob kha raha hoon and kyuki maine itna lifestyle change kar dia hai mera smoking quit kar ke toh usse main aur chocolates daba raha hoon (Since I have changed my lifestyle, I have quit smoking...so I am eating chocolates)."

Meanwhile, Animal represents Ranbir's initial partnership with Rashmika. Just last month, an online release of the movie's teaser garnered praise from netizens. Scheduled for a December 1 release, Animal is poised for a box office showdown with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur.

In addition to Animal, Ranbir has been generating buzz for another undertaking. According to speculation, the actor is purportedly set to portray the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's rendition of Ramayana. Talking about the same, he said, " Ramayana is such a big project, where a lot of work is needed behind it. Nothing has been finalised. I hope it is done soon. As of now, I have been hearing a lot of subjects but nothing (is locked)."
