In an unexpected turn of events at Tandon Petrol Pump on Ghanta Ghar Road, a bus parked for refueling suddenly lurched into motion on Thursday morning. The incident, captured on CCTV , showed the bus veering across the road, colliding with another parked bus, and tragically injuring an employee.

The bus, which had broken down during refueling the previous night, was temporarily parked and secured with bricks by its driver. However, around 9 AM the next day, it started moving without warning. Tejpal, a 36-year-old employee who was inflating tires nearby, was struck by the bus before it collided with another vehicle. The impact left Tejpal critically injured, prompting swift action from petrol pump staff who rushed him to the local hospital.

Authorities later clarified that the bus malfunctioned due to its previous mechanical issues and the removal of the securing bricks, compounded by the sloping terrain of the area. The incident has sparked considerable attention on social media due to the dramatic footage captured by the CCTV camera.

As investigations continue into the precise cause of the malfunction, local officials are emphasizing the importance of vehicle safety protocols, especially in public areas like petrol pumps.
