Shocking Video: Bus Conductor Caught Abusing Sleeping Girl, Internet Erupts In Outrage

A shocking incident aboard a KSRTC bus in Mangaluru has sparked outrage after a viral video showed a conductor allegedly molesting a young woman while she was asleep. The incident took place on a bus traveling from Mudipu to State Bank.

Poated on X (fomerly Twitter) by user Telugu Scribe, the video, captured by a co-passenger, shows the conductor inappropriately touching the woman, triggering a storm on social media. As the footage spread rapidly, public fury mounted, prompting swift action from authorities.

KSRTC wasted no time—immediately suspending the conductor and launching a disciplinary probe. The Konaje police soon arrested him, booking him under Sections 74 and 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. He is now in 15-day judicial custody.

Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy has called for strict punishment, demanding the conductor's removal post-investigation.

While many lauded the exposure of the crime, netizens were equally enraged at the bystander who chose to film the act rather than intervene. “And who is that idiot recording it? Can’t he slap him!” asked one user, while another wrote, “Is the cameraman waiting for rape for this women! He has to stop this nonsense.”

The case has reignited debates around public safety and the moral responsibility of witnesses.
