Diwali In Noida: Mesmerizing Aerial Views Capture NCR's Glittering Nightscape- Watch!
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, brings warmth and joy across communities. This year, Noida’s skyline has captured the festive spirit like never before. A viral Instagram video by Noidagram offers a breathtaking aerial view of Noida, glowing with twinkling Diwali lights . The clip highlights iconic residential towers, each decked out in radiant decor that illuminates the night sky.
"Can you tell us which societies can you recognise? Noida ko isse zyada sunder kabhi dekha hai? 2024 Diwali Lights of Noida. We travelled and captured the most beautiful buildings in Noida and Greater Noida West," reads the video’s caption, which has sparked a wave of admiration online. With over 200,000 views, people are showering the post with appreciation. One viewer commented, “Absolutely breathtaking! Noida looks magical from above, like a city of dreams.” Another excitedly said, “I can recognise my society! Thank you for capturing this incredible view.”
Yet, while Noida celebrates in radiant lights, Delhi grapples with severe pollution. On Diwali morning, Anand Vihar’s air quality index (AQI) hit an alarming 419, pushing into the "severe" zone. Delhi’s 24-hour average AQI rose from 268 to 307, and experts from the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology warned of worsening air quality over the next few days.
Noida, Greater Noida, and nearby areas are faring slightly better, recording “poor” AQI readings. Meanwhile, Faridabad saw a “moderate” 181, with last year’s Diwali marking a record low AQI of 218 for Delhi. Authorities are taking stricter action this season, particularly with a firecracker ban in effect, to help curb pollution.
As Noida celebrates in lights, the contrasting scenes between the two cities serve as a reminder of both the beauty and environmental challenges Diwali brings. This year, residents savor the glowing sights while hoping for cleaner, clearer skies ahead.
