If you are planning to visit Indore, Khopra patties and poha are some of the must-try dishes. What are your go-to hangouts in the city?According to me, Vijay Bhaiya Sandwich Saket Wale, Frullato, Paratha on Wheels, Tinkus and The Crush Coffee are some of the must-visit hangout joints that present Indore’s flavours on every palate. Are there any hidden gems in Indore that one shouldn’t miss?Although every city is packed with hidden gems that are famous for their delightful food dishes but some of my recommendations include Keema Pav At Rolls Point, Pranjals Pizza, Anda Ghotala at Hot Point, Neighbourhood Cafe at Saket and Kunafa at Maghdoot for a delightful experience. Worst street food you have tried in the cityIndore is a treasure trove for foodies but some of my worst experiences include Meghdoot Chaupati ( Tacos, Sushi) sold by various vendors across the city. I would never recommend the first timers to explore this food dish. For instance, Vijay Chaat House’s special khopra patties are unique. Additionally, every food explorer must try the Prassidh Kachori which tastes heavenly. What are your go-to hangouts in the city?My go-to hangout places are Sarafa Bazaar for late-night cravings, Chappan Dukan, and Meghdoot Chaat again for some amazing food stalls. As a food blogger, I love exploring new food options, and Indore has a lot to offer in terms of food and culture. Are there any hidden gems in Indore that one shouldn’t miss?There are so many options that many people still don’t know about, like Prassidh Kachori (also known as Bum Kachori), Devnarayan Sandwich at Bhawarkua, Zonatelo for the best authentic Italian pizzas, Frullato for mouthwatering desserts, and MP09 Chole Bhature. Trust me when I say that Indore has so much to offer; every street has its unique taste, and it’s impossible to stop at just a few because we Indoris are “chatore” and live for food! Worst street food you have tried in the cityThe worst food I’ve had was at a stall called Meghdoot Chaat, where they sell fusion sushi made with jeerawan and paneer. It tastes absolutely terrible! Tastes may vary from person to person, but putting jeerawan in sushi just doesn’t sound appealing to me at all. Which areas of Indore are best for exploring food?Indore is renowned for its vibrant food scene, offering a variety of flavours and culinary experiences. One of the must-visit food places is Sarafa Bazar for its street food. You can try poha-jalebi, sabudana khichdi, dahi vada, and bhutte ka kis during your visit. Another Indori spot is Chappan Dukan which features 56 shops offering a range of snacks and meals. Don’t miss out on pani puri, biryani, and pav bhaji. For someone who loves trying delightful food dishes, you should not miss world famous hot dog from Johny Hot Dog at 56 Dukaan and obviously, the famous poha & jalebi which is the pure love of Indoris. What are your go-to hangouts in the city?Since the city is now transformed into drive-in areas and food hubs, according to me Scheme 140 and Vijay Nagar are some of my recommendations for the food explorers. Are there any hidden gems in Indore that one shouldn't miss?For someone who loves exploring hidden gems, famous kachori spots and Lassi shops are something you everyone must try during your visit. Although everyone across the city would recommend poha jalebi or khopra patties spots but for me, kachrois and lassi tops the list. Worst street food you have tried in the cityAlthough many would debate about the authenticity and quality of food served all across the city and according to me, my city can never be worse in terms of taste, as it has the biggest food hubs in central India, famous for its perfect taste. Which areas of Indore are best for exploring food?Annie recommends, 56 Dukaan and Sarafa Market are some of the must-try food spots. Within the zone, you can enjoy an array of dishes to make your visit an absolute delight.
