New Delhi, April 29, 2025Bajaj Auto has expanded its popular electric scooter lineup with the launch of the new Chetak 3503, priced at ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as the most affordable variant within the Chetak 35 Series, the 3503 aims to strengthen Bajaj’s competitive edge in India’s growing electric two-wheeler market.

Despite its lower price point, the Chetak 3503 retains the mechanical core of the series, including a 3.5 kWh battery offering a claimed range of 155 km on a single charge. It also boasts a practical 35-litre under-seat storage, ideal for everyday commuting needs. However, to keep costs down, the scooter features a restricted top speed of 63 kmph, making it slower than other 35 Series trims.

Bajaj Chetak 3503: Features and Specifications

The Bajaj Chetak 3503 comes equipped with essential features but trims down on premium elements. It offers a basic LCD digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, two riding modes (Eco and Sport), hill-hold assist, and a full metal body for durability. Charging time from 0 to 80% stands at 3 hours and 25 minutes

, slightly longer compared to higher-end variants like the Chetak 3501.

Notably, the Chetak 3503 misses out on features such as sequential turn indicators, a front disc brake, and a fancier digital console found in premium trims. Buyers can choose from four stylish color options: Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, and Matt Grey.

Chetak 3503 vs Chetak 2903: Should You Upgrade?

The new Chetak 3503 is priced about ₹10,000 more

than the existing Chetak 2903, which is available for ₹98,498 and offers a smaller 2.9 kWh battery with a range of 123 km. With deliveries for the Chetak 3503 expected to commence soon, the Chetak 2903 could gradually be phased out, as Bajaj consolidates its product offerings.
