THE BOYZ's Sunwoo Secures Spot as DJ for 'Idol Radio' Season 4

Sunwoo from THE BOYZ is set to take the reins as the new host of the popular MBC radio program, "Idol Radio." The show, dedicated to idols, has been captivating audiences since its inception in 2018. Sunwoo steps into the role previously occupied by ATEEZ's Hongjoong and Yunho.

In a burst of enthusiasm, Sunwoo expressed his excitement, stating, “I aim to be a DJ who can bring out the charm of each idol guest that fans would love to see.”

Adding to the excitement, Sunwoo will also assume the role of MC for "Idol Radio Live in Yokohama" on March 26 at K-Arena Yokohama. In addition to his hosting responsibilities, he'll join THE BOYZ for a captivating performance during the event.

The Boyz, a South Korean boy band consisting of 12 members, debuted in 2017 under the management of Cre.ker Entertainment. Their initial musical release was the EP "The First," featuring the lead track "Boy." Originally named Cre.kerz before their official debut, the group comprises Sangyeon, Sunwoo, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Q, Kevin, New, Ju Hak Nyeon, Eric, and Hwall. They achieved recognition by winning the Best New Male Artist award at the Melon Music Awards in 2018. In addition to their music endeavors, The Boyz has participated in various TV reality shows, including "Flower Snack" (2017), "Our Happy Home" (2018), "Thumping Travel" (2019), and "School Attack 2019."
