Seventeen Ends Their Remarkable 'FOLLOW TO JAPAN' Dome Tour in Japan
On the 18th, Pledis Entertainment revealed that Seventeen wrapped up their 'FOLLOW TO JAPAN' tour with their final show at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 16th and 17th.
Seventeen conducted 12 shows across five cities—Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka—and drew in a combined audience of 515,000 people. Specifically in Fukuoka, they captivated 80,000 spectators over two days.
The performers showcased a medley of popular songs, kicking off with 'Son Oh Gong', then transitioning to 'DON QUIXOTE', 'Clap', and wrapping up with 'Don't Wanna Cry'.
Seventeen expressed their feelings by saying, "It feels new, good, and exciting to meet 'Carats' (Seventeen's fandom) on such a big stage." They added, "Although the weather today is a bit cold, our love with Carats was hotter than anything. We hope to be with Carats healthily for a long time."
They also mentioned, "We feel both sad and proud as the Japan 5-major dome tour comes to an end. We sincerely thank Carats who came to all the dome tour venues, from Tokyo to Fukuoka. Thanks for allowing Seventeen to keep dreaming bigger. Let's meet at a stadium next year."
The initial Fukuoka performance streamed live to more than 1,500 movie screens across 66 countries globally, while the second day was streamed online.
In addition to their dome tour, Seventeen organized 'THE CITY,' a city-themed concert playpark project in five Japanese cities. They displayed life-sized figures of Seventeen members at the Fukuoka Tower observation deck and featured a Seventeen-themed airplane on domestic routes in Japan. A synchronized fountain show with their latest song took place at Canal City Hakata.
Seventeen's tour resumes on the 23rd and 24th of this month in Bangkok, Thailand. They'll continue with shows on January 13th and 14th next year in Bulacan, Philippines, followed by performances on January 20th and 21st in Macau.
