More About Meovv
Meovv is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by The Black Label. The group, which debuted on September 6, 2024, with their digital single "Meow," features five members: Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella.

The name "Meovv" stands for "My Eyes Open VVide." Ella, a member of the group, explained the unique spelling with two 'V's instead of a 'W' as a choice to add visual appeal and better represent the members.

Before joining The Black Label, most Meovv members had notable backgrounds in entertainment, modeling, music, and dance. Ella Gross , an American model, began her career at age two and has appeared in campaigns for brands like Zara, H&M, and GAP. Gawon was previously a trainee at YG Entertainment and featured in Adidas ads. Japanese member Anna Tanaka started as a child model and was an exclusive model for Seventeen from October 2019 to December 2021.

In March 2024, The Black Label announced plans to debut a new girl group in the first half of the year. The agency also filed for the trademark "Méovv," hinting at its use for this new group.
