EXO's LAY UnveilsThe Stunning 'Kai Tian' Music Video
EXO's Lay Unleashes Mythical Vibes with 'Kai Tian'
On January 1, EXO’s Lay kicked off the new year with a stunning music video for his latest single, "Kai Tian"—a title that translates to "open the sky." Drawing inspiration from Chinese mythology, the song references Pangu, a primordial figure credited with separating heaven and earth in ancient lore.
The legend of Pangu carries a profound connection to nature, with his body said to have formed the mountains, rivers, and other natural elements. Lay channels this mythical energy into his track, creating a rich narrative backdrop.
"Kai Tian" seamlessly weaves traditional Chinese instruments with contemporary hip-hop beats and dance influences, echoing Lay’s signature style in tracks like "Lit" and "Flying Apsaras." The result? A captivating fusion of past and present that feels both grand and groundbreaking.
