Meet DAY6
DAY6 is a South Korean pop rock band signed to JYP Entertainment. They made their debut on September 7, 2015, with the EP The Day, which quickly climbed to No. 2 on Billboard's World Album Chart within a week. The group is currently made up of Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Originally a six-member band, they saw departures with Junhyeok leaving on February 27, 2016, and Jae on December 31, 2021. All members are deeply involved in writing, composing, and producing their music.

In 2017, DAY6 undertook the ambitious Every Day6 project, releasing two new songs each month. By the end of the year, they had added 25 tracks to their discography, spanning from hard rock to upbeat sing-alongs and mellow ballads. Their first full-length album, Sunrise, featured songs from the first half of the Every Day6 project and was ranked No. 14 on Billboard’s "The 25 Greatest K-Pop Albums of the 2010s: Staff List." Additionally, their project kick-off track "I Wait" earned the No. 81 spot on Billboard's "The 100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s: Staff List."
