As of November 17, the Hanteo Chart made an official announcement stating that aespa's latest mini-album, 'Drama,' astonishingly sold a total of 1,130,379 copies within its first week of release, spanning from November 10 to 16.

Remarkably, aespa has made history as the first female artist on the Hanteo charts to achieve over 1 million copies sold for three distinct albums within their debut week. Prior to 'Drama,' Aespa accomplished this feat with their earlier mini-album 'MY WORLD' and their 2022 release, 'Girls.'


In addition to its success in South Korea, 'Drama'has been dominating music charts in China, securing the top spot on QQ Music's and KuGou Music's digital album sales charts. Notably, the album's title track, 'Drama,' climbed to No. 1 on QQ Music's music video chart and rising chart as well.

The revised version of ‘Drama’ was officially launched on November 10, notably devoid of the previously controversial sustainability-themed lyrics. Fans expressed relief that aespa's input was considered, resulting in changes to the song.
