Agastya Nanda Secures A Role In Sriram Raghavan's 'Ekkis': Bringing A Heroic Saga To The Silver Screen
Following his debut in The Archies, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is poised to embark on his second film venture. As per reports, the emerging star has secured a role in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming movie, 'Ekkis.' This film is anticipated to be a biopic portraying the valorous 1971 war hero, Arun Khetarpal, and will feature veteran actor Dharmendra in a pivotal role.
Allegedly, Agastya is currently engrossed in reading the script and is slated to commence filming for the project in January 2024. According to a source close to the film shared with India Today, “December and the first half of January will be spent by Agastya in reading the script and also doing some workshops to rehearse for the schedule ahead. Sriram wanted a young actor to play the part of Arun Khetarpal and feels that Agastya fits the role like a hand in a glove. After months of prep, Sriram and Agastya are now all set to commence the journey of bringing the heroic tale to the big screen.”
Nevertheless, it's important to note that the young actor has not issued any official statement regarding his involvement in the second movie at present.
Agastya Nanda entered the world of acting through Zoya Akhtar’s production, 'The Archies,' where he made his debut. This film also served as the Bollywood debut for Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Alongside them, the Netflix movie featured pivotal roles played by Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda.
