AJMER/JAIPUR: The political discourse took on cricket metaphors ahead of the November 25 assembly elections in Rajasthan, with Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra alleging Monday that BJP is already a “hit wicket” in the state, responding to PM Modi’s remarks from the previous day that various factions within Congress are attempting to run each other out.
She asserted that BJP has already lost its wicket due to the absence of a state party leader in Rajasthan suitable for the chief ministership. “BJP has deteriorated the elections to a level where they just talk about India-Pakistan, Hindu-Muslim, and caste to get votes,” she alleged.
