Padmanabh Singh and South African Lance Watson lead Team Jaipur to triumph in General Amar Singh Kanota Polo Cup

JAIPUR: Padmanabh Singh and South Africa's Lance Watson scored three goals each to help Team Jaipur win the General Amar Singh Kanota Cup (4 goals) here recently at the Rajasthan Polo Club ground. The final was played under the September Polo Season 2024 in which top national polo players competed for the top honours for various teams.

Thanks to splendid effort from Padmanabh Singh and Lance Watson, Team Jaipur beat Team V Polo 7-4. The tall and lanky Aryan Singh chipped in with a goal. Vijayashree Shaktawat also played for the team.

For the team V Polo, Angad Kalan slammed a couple, while Nimit Mehta and Vivaan Mehta scored a goal apiece. Gonzalo Yanzon was the other member of the losing side.

On this occasion, Thakur Raghunath Singh Kanota was the chief guest and presented the trophy to the winners.
