Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have shared some of their favourite moments at Disneyland during an ABC special titled 'The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland', marking the theme park's 70th anniversary. Meghan Markle has also revealed how Prince Archie, six, asked a sweet 3-worded question during the family's stay to mark Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday.

Speaking in the documentary, Meghan Markle said: "For us to be able to have our own childhood memories and then watch that play out through our daughter's birthday, and Archie said, 'When's my birthday?'".

Lili's fourth birthday at Disneyland included rides on Splash Mountain, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and she even had a birthday cake topped with Ariel from The Little Mermaid as documented in Meghan Markle's social media posts about the trip.

Prince Harry added: "To see the kids throw themselves into these experiences when they have no idea what they're walking into, it was amazing. It brings out the kid in you again."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed the family trip to Disneyland in California to mark Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday on 4 June.

Archie, however, celebrated his birthday on May 6. Meghan Markle posted a photo of her son, Archie, on her personal Instagram account to celebrate his 6th birthday, captioning it "Our son. Our sun". The photo shows Archie looking out at the ocean as the sun sets in front of him.

Meghan's caption at the time read: "Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He's six! Where did the time go?

"And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special."

A photo shown during the broadcast also captured Meghan and Harry mid-flight on Space Mountain, one of the Prince's favourite rides, which he said he's been on more than a dozen times since childhood.

Harry recalled visiting the theme park in 1993 with his mother, Princess Diana, and his brother, Prince William, noting he still remembers being overwhelmed by the characters in costume and riding Space Mountain again and again.

Earlier this week Harry and Meghan made a rare public appearance at a star-studded gala in their first outing since the royal reunion.

The couple were guests at Kevin Costner's One805LIVE! fundraiser this weekend at Costner's Yellowstone oceanside estate in Santa Barbara - a benefit supporting first responders.
