Avengers Doomsday cast first look: X-Men, Robert Downey Jr Doctor Doom and more

Avengers Doomsday recently wrapped filming just outside of London, featuring an epic Marvel cast.

Joining Robert Downey Jr's Doctor Doom are the likes of Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four and the original 2000s X-Men cast.

The multiverse epic is just part 1 ahead of 2027's Avengers Secret Wars, which the Russo Brothers have also returned to direct.

No stills have been released from the highly secretive set just yet, but official promotional art on a piece of merchandise clothing has leaked.

Shared by scooper MyTimeToShineHello on X, the image features a first look at characters in costume.

Most notable is Downey's Doctor Doom, who is in a very comic book accurate costume, including the villain's metal mask.

This was previously teased in the end credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, when he kidnapped Franklin Richards, who has the ability to warp reality.

Meanwhile, fans will be thrilled that James Marsden's Cyclops is wearing his comic book accurate costume in all its camp colourful glory. This is a first, following in the footsteps of Hugh Jackman's Logan in Deadpool and Wolverine.

Avengers Doomsday hits cinemas on December 18, 2026.
