Ford has returned to India, cars will be made in large numbers, BMW and Mercedes are in tension

Ford Returns in India:  Ford Motor Company had decided to shut down its manufacturing operations in India in the year 2021, but since then there has been constant speculation that Ford might return to India. However, now the company has decided to resume manufacturing in India. 

Ford will resume operations 

Ford Motor has decided to start manufacturing in India once again. However, this manufacturing will be done for global export. This means that the company will not launch its models in the Indian market. The company had completely shut down its manufacturing operations in India about 3 years ago and now the company will return to India again. 

Will work together with Tamil Nadu government 

Let us tell you that Ford Motor Company has signed a letter of intent with the Tamil Nadu government to start work at the Chennai plant. 

An official statement has been issued by the company in this regard. 

In the statement, Ford International Markets Group President Kay Hart said, 'Now as we explore various options for the Chennai plant, we are grateful for the support we are receiving from the Tamil Nadu government.'
