Hollyoaks' Jennifer Metcalfe shares her go-to SPF that 'blends so well' and 'acts like a primer'
Skincare fans will know that one of the most important steps in your routine is your SPF. Whether it’s blazing sunshine or an overcast rainy day, sunscreen should always be the last step in your regime before you apply your makeup to protect your skin from the sun’s damaging rays.
However it can be tricky finding an SPF that works for your skin, especially if you’re planning on wearing makeup over the top of it, something Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe knows all too well. The actress, who plays Mercedes McQueen in the long-running Channel 4 soap, took to Instagram to share her struggles with finding the right SPF – and the one she can’t live without.
In her Get Ready With Me video, Jennifer wrote: “Every SPF I’ve ever tried has always felt so heavy on my skin and almost impossible to use under makeup. To the point where some days l’ve just avoided using it.”
