Adele’s romance with Rich Paul is set to be made into film after he landed a big money deal.
It's been reported that Rich's life as a sports agent will be thrown into the spotlight and his memoir Lucky Me, turned into a feature film for release in 2026. A script for the book is said to be in the works which will explore how he has overcome obstacles to become one of the most well known names in the sports business.
His partner and fellow celeb Adele - who is said to be engaged to the sports agent - is rumoured to be excited for the new project and is backing him. Other celebrity friends such as Jay-Z and Lebron James are also supporting their pal. The Sun reported that a source said: "Rich’s book has been a major success and his rise is a huge source of inspiration.
"He had a difficult childhood with a mother who struggled with drug addiction and a house in an area riddled with crime. But he managed to turn it all around. Adele was so moved by Rich’s book and after he was approached about it being made into a film, she has been backing him. She wants people to see how amazing Rich is and the film will reach people that his book didn’t."
This news comes after it was rumoured that Rich popped the question to Adele, who about to embark on a special string of gig in Berlin following her stint in Las Vegas. The duo's potential wedding has long been the talk of the town but it now seems the pair are engaged.
It's reported that Rich got down on one knee in Adele's hometown, with the musician said to have said yes. Adele is then said to have phones friends and family to tell them the exciting news. A source said: "Rich planned for the proposal to be in her hometown, and gave her an incredible four carat diamond ring. They celebrated with champagne at Chiltern Firehouse the following evening."
This won't be the first time that Adele has walked down the aisle as she was previously married to entrepreneur Simon Konecki between 2018 to 2021, with the pair sharing 11-year-old son, Angelo. Following the split, Adele became romantically involved with Rich, who himself is a dad of three.
In 2022, the couple were said to have splashed out on a huge mansion in Beverly Hills. Adele has previously teased fans of their status amid wedding rumours. The source claimed Adele thought it was "hilarious that fans reckon they’re already married" as she continued to drop hints and tease the situation. During this year's Brit awards, she showcased a ring on her wedding finger, sending fans wild. She also previously labelled herself Rich's "wife" while calling him her husband during a performance.
