Ingredients of Dhaniya Panjiri

1 cup coriander seeds (coarsely ground)
1/2 cup powdered sugar or jaggery (as per taste)
1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
2 tablespoons chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, and raisins)
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
1 teaspoon cardamom powder

How to Make Dhaniya Panjiri

Step 1:

To prepare Dhaniya Panjiri, start by dry roasting the coarsely ground coriander seeds in a pan over low heat. Stir continuously to avoid burning and ensure even roasting until the seeds release a pleasant aroma. Once done, set them aside to cool.


Step 2:

Next, in the same pan, heat the ghee and add the chopped dry fruits. Sauté the nuts until they turn golden brown and give off a nutty fragrance. Add the desiccated coconut and roast for a couple of minutes until it becomes slightly golden.

Step 3:

Now, mix the roasted coriander seeds with the ghee, nuts, and coconut. Add the powdered sugar or jaggery, depending on your preference, and sprinkle in the cardamom powder. Stir everything together until the mixture is well combined.

Step 4:
