LE SSERAFIM emerges as the highest ranked female artist on Spotify's '2024 Korean Music Global Impact List'

LE SSERAFIM has achieved a remarkable milestone on Spotify , setting a new record as the most-ranked female artist on the platform.

According to the '2024 Korean Music Global Impact List ,' released by Spotify on the 25th, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) dominated the charts with tracks from their third mini-album. The title track 'EASY' and the B-side 'Smart' secured 3rd and 4th places, respectively. Additionally, Huh Yunjin's collaboration with MAX on 'STUPID IN LOVE (feat. HUH YUNJIN of LE SSERAFIM)' landed at the 10th spot.

This achievement marks LE SSERAFIM as the female artist with the highest number of entries on the '2024 Korean Music Global Impact List,' with three tracks in the top 10. The list highlights the top 30 songs by Korean artists most streamed globally (excluding Korea) on Spotify during the first half of the year.

Spotify, a key player in the U.S. Billboard 's 'Hot 100' calculations and a leading global music streaming service, underscores LE SSERAFIM's significant impact on the international music scene, solidifying their elevated status.

In addition to their Spotify success, LE SSERAFIM expanded their global influence with their third mini-album 'EASY,' released in February. The album soared to the 8th spot on the Billboard 200, the main album chart, on March 9, and the title track 'EASY' made its debut on the 'Hot 100' at 99.

LE SSERAFIM's rise in the music industry is a testament to their talent and growing international fanbase. Their presence on global charts like Spotify and Billboard showcases their expanding influence and potential for even greater success in the future.

Le Sserafim, stylized in all caps as LE SSERAFIM, is a renowned South Korean girl group under the management of Source Music. Comprised of five talented members namely Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae, the group originally formed with six members until Kim Ga-ram's departure on July 20, 2022, following the termination of her exclusive contract.

The group made a remarkable debut on May 2, 2022, with their first extended play titled "Fearless," setting a new record for the highest-selling debut album by a K-pop girl group in first-day sales. Their second extended play, "Antifragile," released in October of the same year, further solidified their success by becoming the group's first release to surpass a million copies sold. Notably, they made history as the fastest K-pop girl group to debut on the US Billboard 200.

Both EPs' title tracks soared to the top ten of South Korea's Circle Digital Chart, earning platinum certifications for streaming in both South Korea and Japan.
