100 guards deployed on 'Alpha' sets to prevent leaks of Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol's epic battle

Alia Bhatt has joined the adrenaline-pumping world of espionage with ' Alpha ' alongside Bobby Deol , who plays the villain in the movie. The shoot went to floors in the first week of July at YRF Studios in Andheri and now the unit has shifted base to Film City in Goregaon with 100 guards put to duty, reports mid-day. Alia and Bobby are reportedly shooting for an action packed sequence, which the report described as, "a no-holds-barred set-piece full of blood, gore and brutality".

From hand-to-hand combat to using weapons, Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol will go all out for this action sequence. The shoot is reportedly four-days long and producer Aditya Chopra has ensured that the set is heavily guarded with 100 men securing the sets to stop any possible leaks. The film scene is being shot on a highly secure set, meticulously designed by art directors Amit Ray and Subrata Chakraborty. For the face off, Alia is dressed in a black attire with a gun strapped to her thigh while Bobby dons cropped hair and a salt-and-pepper beard.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, 'Alpha' is the latest addition to the YRF spy universe and also stars Sharvari Wagh. Casey O’Neill, who has designed the action sequences for hits like 'Jawan' (2023), 'Top Gun: Maverick' (2022), and 'Jack Reacher' (2012), has been roped in to call the shots for this spy drama too.

Alia was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' and Bobby Deol garnered much praise for his role in his last venture 'Animal '.
