Watch: Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Haldi ceremony video is so much fun

India's richest person, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita's youngest child Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant in a lavish wedding on July 12, 2024, which was attended by celebrities, business and tech tycoons, sportspersons, and politicians from across the world. The lavish wedding celebrations were spread over three days and it was hosted at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. A few days before the wedding, the Ambanis hosted a Haldi ceremony for Anant and Radhika at their home, Antilia, in Mumbai. Just like most of their parties, the Haldi ceremony too was a grand affair and it was attended not just by their family but also by celebrities and close friends.

Now a video from Anant and Radhika's Haldi ceremony is finally out giving a sneak peak of their fun celebration! In the Ambani Haldi ceremony video, which is doing the rounds on the internet, one can see Anant Ambani happily applying Haldi to his mother Nita and his father Mukesh which reflects the close bond he shares with his parents. One can also see Reliance Industries' Chairperson, Mukesh Ambani in a lighter mood-- pouring a bowl full of Haldi on his wife Nita!

In the video, one can also spot ace Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh having a fun time and dancing their hearts out to dhol beats. Other Bollywood guests at the ceremony included star kids Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor who danced the night away. Guests also included Anil and Tina Ambani, Salman Khan, MS Dhoni and Sakshi, among many others.

The couple Anant-Radhika too can be seen having a great time during their haldi ceremony while drenching others and playing fully applying Haldi on the guests. For the unversed, the Haldi ceremony is an important pre-wedding ritual in Hindu weddings wherein haldi or turmeric paste is applied to the to-be bride and groom by their family and friends as it is considered to be auspicious and ward-off evil eye.

Anant-Radhika's love story

While Anant and Radhika knew each other for a few years, their relationship got official with a Roka ceremony at Rajasthan's Nath Dwara temple which was attended by their family in 2022. In January 2023, the couple had an official engagement ceremony, also called the Gol Dhana ceremony in Gujarati, at the Ambani house Antilia in Mumbai.

A year later, in March 2024 the Ambani hosted the first grand pre-wedding for Anant and Radhika in their hometown Jamnagar, Gujarat which was followed by a second pre-wedding bash on a cruise in Italy a few weeks later. Anant and Radhika finally got hitched on July 12, 2024.
