Agents of the Four Seasons is a Japanese light novel series written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Suoh.
It began publication under ASCII Media Works’ light novel imprint Dengeki Bunko in April 2021.
A manga adaptation of the first part illustrated by Nappa Komatsuka began serialization in Hakusensha’s shojo manga magazine LaLa in July 2022.
Its chapters have been collected into five tankobon volumes as of February 2025. The manga adaptation is also licensed in English by Yen Press.
Yen Press describes the plot of Dance Of Spring as:
Winter was once the only season in the world-but such an existence was too lonely to bear, and so it created Spring to love. Before long, the earth wished for more time to rest in the cycle, and Summer and Autumn were born. The ones who carry the cycle are called the Agents of the Four Seasons. Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared from this land ten years ago, taking the season of spring with her. Now, after incredible hardship, she has returned to restore the cycle to its proper state-and, as in the myth passed down since the dawn of time, she sends her love to Winter.
A spin-off manga, illustrated by Yuriko Asami, began serialization in Dengeki G’s Comic in May 2023.
