Re:Zero Season 3’s previous episode ended on a cliffhanger, with yet another Archbishop of the Witch Cult joining the battle. Not only did this complicate things for Subaru, the worst part was that the Archbishop of Greed, Regulus Corneas, was holding an unconscious Emilia in his hands.

Re:Zero Season 3 episode 3 will bring the battle with the Archbishops to an end, and explore more of what is happening across Priestella city. Apparently, these two aren’t the only enemies who have landed in the Water Gate City. What exactly are their intentions?

The Emilia camp, preparing for the royal selection, had been enjoying peaceful and fulfilling days with everyone united.

However, that tranquility comes to an end when a single letter arrives, delivered by a messenger. The letter is an invitation addressed to Emilia from Anastasia to the city of water gates, Priestella, one of the five major cities of Lugunica and a candidate for the royal selection.

Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his companions head to Priestella, where various reunions await them. Some are unexpected, some are unintentional, and one is yet to come. Beneath the surface, malevolent forces stir, and an unprecedented crisis looms.

Once again, the young man faces a harsh and challenging fate.
