Natsume's Book Of Friends Season 7 Reveals New Trailer Previewing Theme Songs & Release Date

The official X account of Natsume’s Book Of Friends unveiled a new trailer and key visual for the upcoming seventh season of the anime on Aug 30, 2024.

The trailer previews the theme songs for the seventh season.

Hinata Kashiwagi performs the opening theme, “Alca,” while the ending theme, “Komariwarai,” is performed by Toshiki Kondo.

season 7 will start airing on Oct 7, 2024, in Japan.

Crunchyroll will stream the new season in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.

Takahiro Omori is returning as chief director at Shuka, with Hideki Ito is returning to direct the new season. Sadayuki Murai will be in charge of overseeing the script. Akira Takata will serve as the character designer, and Makoto Yoshimori will compose the music.

Natsume’s Book of Friends is a Japanese manga series by Yuki Midorikawa. It started in Hakusensha’s shojo manga magazine LaLa DX in June 2003, where it ran until April 2008; it has been serialized in LaLa since July 2007. The chapters and special chapters have been collected in 30 tankobon volumes as of September 2023.

An anime television series adaptation, produced by Brain’s Base (seasons 1–4) and Shuka (seasons 5 onwards), has been broadcast on TV Tokyo in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2016, and 2017.

Two anime films, Natsume’s Book of Friends the Movie and Natsume’s Book of Friends: The Waking Rock and the Strange Visitor, were released in 2018 and 2021, respectively.
