Deepika Padukone's trainer shares 5-minute full-body workout routine

Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala, whose portfolio includes Bollywood's leading ladies including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez and many more, recently shared a quick 5-minute full-body workout. Taking to Instagram, Yasmin shared that all you need is 5 minutes from your busy schedule to burn off those extra 'modak' calories and stay in shape after Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

The workout involves a series of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises that you can do for a full-body burn. All you need is a yoga mat, and a set of dumbbells and you are good to go. Getting fit from the comfort of your home has never been more accessible. Here are the 5 exercises that she recommends doing for 5 rounds each to get results. One round consists of 15 reps of each exercise.

  • Dumbbell squat followed by an overhead press 
  • Dumbbell  pullover with a bridge
  • Dumbbell  lunge followed by single triceps extension
  • Dumbbell  deadlift with power clean
  • Single leg push-up with a butt blaster
  • The celeb trainer is a fan of such quick workouts of HIIT exercises and often recommends them for people with busy schedules.
