The Rings of Power S2 OTT release date Prime Video: When to watch

The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power is one of the most anticipated OTT releases. The sci-fi and fantasy series is an adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's world, which has a range of new characters this time. Main roles in the series are played by actors like Morfydd Clark, Charlie Vickers, and Robert Aramayo. The Prime Video show is scheduled to be released on August 29.

According to the official description issued by Prime Video along with the trailer on YouTube, the series will bring its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a "rising tide of darkness," "challenging each to find their place in a world that is increasingly on the brink of calamity." 

Prime Video has also shared the trailer for the show on X (former Twitter) and said, "Darkness will bind them. The Rings Of Power returns August 29 on Prime Video."

The series this time has eight episodes and will be available in languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

All about the storyplot: 

The fantasy show is full of characters this time. One of the main characters is Elrond. He is one of the main protagonists who gets a ring with powers that allow him to grant wishes. The character with the magical ring was first unaware of the powerful ring but later discovered that some evil powers used the ring to increase their own strength. The story is all about how the good characters fight with the evil ones in order to save that ring from getting into the hands of the evil forces.

Cast: 

This season, with eight episodes, has a long list of actors like Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Maxim Baldry, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Gabriel Akuwudike, Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Ben Daniels, and Geoff Morrell, among many others.

The series It is produced by Ron Ames and Chris Newman.
