Family Pack OTT release date Netflix: When to watch?

If you love adventure with a perfect balance of comedy and fantasy, Francis Uzan is bringing you his much-awaited French drama. Titled Family Pack, this movie will premiere on Netflix on October 23, 2024. The plot and cast of this Franck Dubosc-led time travel tale are extremely thrilling and we assure you it won’t disappoint you even a minute.

Family Pack is based on the popular game Werewolves of Millers Hollow created by Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly and published by Asmodee Group. Family Pack simply adds a Jumanji-like twist while incorporating the card game into its narrative. The summary of the movie as per IMDb reads, “When an old card game comes to life, a family travels back in time and lands in a medieval village where they must unmask werewolves in order to return to their own time.”

 “We could have put teenagers in a Scream-style house, or imagined a game of social massacre in a Haussmann living room… [but] we chose to make it an adventure and family film with humour and, of course, thrills,” director François Uzan once told French newspaper, Le Parisian.

Family Pack has an ensemble cast featuring Franck Dubosc, Jean Reno, Suzanne Clément, Grégory Fitoussi, Bruno Gouery, Jonathan Lambert, Lisa Do Couto, Raphaël Romand, and Alizée Caugnies among others. Directed by Francis Uzan, Hervé Marly and Philippe des Pallières have written the film's screenplay. The principal photography of Family Pack took place during the summer of 2023 in Prague on a medieval set originally created for the television series Knightfall.

Using its French title Les Loups Garous de Thiercelieux, the film also shot across Czech movie-friendly locations like Drevníky, Zduchovice, and Výsluní u Chomutova. It is produced by Matthieu Warter and Clement Miserez under the banner of Radar Films.
