In view of air pollution, the sale of crackers has been completely banned in Delhi-NCR under the Environment Protection Act 1986. If someone despite this produces, stores, sells, and uses crackers, then strict action will be taken against such person and company. Such people may have to pay a fine of up to Rs 5000. And there can be a jail term of up to 3 years.
