Azaad teaser: Ajay Devgn's film is an epic tale set against the backdrop of the historic Battle of Haldighati; Debutants Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani looks promising

Azaad is the upcoming Bollywood debut film of Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn’s nephew, opposite Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, and the makers of the film have released the teaser. Starring Singham Again actor and Diana Penty, Maharana Pratap’s ‘Wafadar ghoda’ Azaad is full of action and excitement!!

The teaser starts with a sneak peek into the grand story based on the backdrop of the historical Battle of Haldighati. This one has Maharana Pratap, a leading a courageous battalion of eight to nine thousand (Rajputs), fighting against a fierce opposing army of forty thousand.

In it, Maharana Pratap’s horse is also referred to as “elephant height”, “peacock neck”, “man mor” and “swift as lightning” while the mighty horse could leap vallies.

A film that is sure to explore the bond between courageous warriors and their trusty steeds before all of the action is unleashed. The post also reads, “With every struggle, there is always a faithful horse alongside every brave warrior.”

In response to the teaser, fans were very quick to react. A user wrote, “Osm Teaser”. As one said, “Congrats Aaman for your first movie” Another said, “Sir ji jag diya bahut sohna lagda ae”.

The source described the story as needing both a youthful actor and a seasoned name to sell the film and the director got the right combo in Aaman Devgan and Ajay Devgn.

It added that Ajay’s charcter has been designed such a way that fans have never seen before. The source also mentions that a special look has been designed for Singham Again star, which the team believes will make everyone surprised.

An insider also said so about Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgn as well they needed to do a lot of training, which was started before the shoots.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, the film is co-produced by Abhishek Nayyar and Abhishek Kapoor. The film, produced at RSVP and Guy In The Sky Pictures, is planned for a theatrical release next January.
